Elektrokill likes his bigband drummers crunchy. For breakfast. Okay, they do have this nasty tendency to stick between the teeth. But then again, what would a cheesy grindcore-grin be without a couple of chunky arms, sticks and brushes inbetween those molars?

After a cup of triple-brewed coffee has been slurped down hastily, a bomb has been planted in the living-room, and the shoulders have been shrugged in indifference, it's time for some truly evil deeds. After all, a computer is a really versatile instrument and it's begging to be enslaved. Our little Krefeld gremlin (or was it the little Grefeld kremlin?) knows the reason why.

So the system gets booted up, some samples are being grabbed from the trashcan, chucked into the blender and turned into meshy pulp with the push of a button - a routine that enchants each and every beatjunkie craving for a fix, every music-nerd and professor for auditive visualism. It hardly comes as a suprise that Elektrokill made Photek turn into a manic-depressive and had Aphex decompile his piano in a fit of rage. But hey, who gives a flying frigg as long as we're having a ball.

Knusprig verspeist Elektrokill am Morgen erst einmal ein paar Bigband-Schlagzeuger. Die kleben zwar ein wenig zwischen den Zähnen, aber zu einem anmutigen Grindcore-Lächeln gehören eben auch ein paar lecka Ärmchen, Sticks und Jazzbesen die nett zwischen den Kronen blitzen.

Noch eine schlammige Tasse Kaffee geköchelt, ein wenig das Wohnzimmer verwüstet und achtlos die Schultern gezuckt und auf zum Tageswerk. Denn so ein Rechner ist ein wahrlich virtuoses Instrument und will geknechtet werden. Das Krefelder Käuzchen weiss warum.

Also hochgefahren, und ab mit den Samples aus dem Müllkorb in den Shaker und kräftig umrühren. Das verzaubert jeden Beatbastler, Musik-Nerd und Professor für auditive Visualistik. Kein Wunder, ist Elektrokill doch auch der Grund, warum Photek manisch-depressiv wurde und Aphex vor Wut sein Piano auseinanderschraubte. Aber wir sagn mal, egal. Hauptsache wir ham Spaß!
