The mathematics of electronic induction in themselves are too weak to apprehend themselves, let alone to make statements about themselves that are meaningful and rich in content. Still, in our everday-lives we're all surrounded by this mechanised, reduced representation and logic of human existence. Zero One. 'Living in a box'. A calculator as a performer of Zeitgeist, a plagiarism of scenery and an amateur actor. With "Zahlenwerk" we assign our faithful companion's place in the electronic age - in the tool-shed of our creativity.
