Stereoshape - Hello City EP

English: Pop is not so much a genre but rather a certain sound. Just like a metropolis embraces all the different faces, feelings, views and ways of life of its inhabitants, the memorability and the gloss of the pop-sound are exactly the attributes that merge and weld very diverse contents and styles into one.

In that spirit, Stereoshape's debut EP on iD.EOLOGY is pop at its very best. Whether their songs tell stories about romantic daydreams, that tingly anticipation of a wild night out, about psychedelic trips through inner and outer realities, the start of a new love or simply about the fascination of a flirt on the dancefloor, it's always their palatable and polished sound that connects all these themes just as easily as stylistic elements from triphop, funk, blues, electro, lounge and disco.

And since this EP is so urban in function, it'll work for you just as appropriately in a city mansion loft as in a top-floor club, while chilling out in the park as while being on the subway.

So forget all about genres - this city is all about sound.

So wie die Großstadt eine Klammer um all die unterschiedlichen Gesichter, Gefühle, Anschauungen und Lebensweisen ihrer Einwohner ist, so sind die Prägnanz und die Geschliffenheit des Pop-Sounds genau die Attribute, welche Inhalte und Stile verschiedenster Art zusammenführen und zu einer Einheit verschweißen.

In diesem Sinne ist die Debut-EP von Stereoshape auf iD.EOLOGY Pop auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Ob sie in ihren Songs von romantischen Träumereien, der prickelnden Vorfreude auf eine durchfeierte Nacht, von psychedelischen Reisen durch innere und äußere Realitäten, den Aufbruch in eine neue Liebe oder einfach nur von der Faszination eines Flirts auf der Tanzfläche erzählen, es ist stets ihr greifbarer und polierter Sound, der all diese Inhalte genauso mühelos verknüpft wie Stilelemente aus Triphop, Funk, Blues, Electro, Lounge und Disco.

Und da diese EP so urban funktioniert, begleitet sie Euch ebenso adäquat im Altbau-Loft wie im Dachgeschoss-Club, während Ihr im Park chillt wie während Ihr mit der U-Bahn fahrt.

Ja Wow!

Eine wirklich sehr gute Veröffentlichung. Die herausragende Qualität der Aufnahmen passen super zu den guten Stimmen und es gleitet der Sound direkt ins Herz und ins Ohr. Ich bin gespannt was mach noch von Stereoshape zu hören bekommen wird!
